U.S. Shipping & Returns Policy

At Daijah Janae Hair Company, we are committed to providing a seamless and elevated experience for our U.S. customers. Due to the nature of our products and the custom preparation involved, the following policies apply to all orders shipped within the United States.


Order Confirmation Requirement (Required for All Orders)

All customers are required to complete the Order Confirmation Form in its entirety after placing an order.

If the Order Confirmation Form is not fully completed within 2 business days of purchase, the order will be automatically canceled, refunded, and subject to a $200 restocking fee.

If the order was placed using an installment payment option such as Klarna, Shop Pay Installments, or similar services, an additional 15% restocking fee will apply in addition to the $200 restocking fee.

Customers are strongly encouraged to thoroughly review the Order Confirmation Form link prior to purchasing to ensure understanding of all required information and to avoid delays, cancellations, or additional fees.

U.S. Shipping

All U.S. orders are shipped via trusted carriers such as UPS, USPS or FEDEX and include tracking and signature confirmation. Processing times vary by product type and are communicated at the time of purchase.

Once an order has been processed and shipped, Daijah Janae Hair Company is not responsible for shipping delays caused by carriers, weather conditions, or circumstances beyond our control.

Shipping fees are non-refundable.


Hair Care & Product Responsibility Disclaimer

Our hair products are made from 100% human hair, and like natural hair, results will vary based on individual care, maintenance, styling methods, products used, climate, and frequency of wear.

Once the hair has been used, worn, installed, styled, washed, altered, or maintained by the customer, Daijah Janae Hair Company is not responsible for:

  • Shedding, tangling, or matting caused by improper care or maintenance
  • Changes in texture, curl pattern, or wave pattern
  • Dryness, frizz, or breakage
  • Color changes, fading, or brassiness due to products, heat, water quality, or environmental factors
  • Damage caused by chemicals, heat styling, cutting, or improper storage

Hair care outcomes are the sole responsibility of the customer once the product has been worn or used.


Missing, Defective, or Damaged Item(s)

Daijah Janae Hair Company packages and fulfills all orders in-house. Every order is carefully prepared, inspected, and secured to ensure all purchased items are included and properly packaged prior to shipment.

In the rare event that an item arrives missing, defective, or damaged, customers must notify us within 2 days of delivery to be considered for review. Requests submitted after this timeframe will not be eligible for resolution.

All claims must be submitted with:

  • Clear photos and/or video documentation
  • Original packaging
  • Proof of delivery

Claims are reviewed and approved at the sole discretion of Daijah Janae Hair Company.

Defective or Damaged Items

If an item is confirmed to be defective or damaged prior to use, and the claim is approved, resolution will be provided at our discretion in the form of:

  • A replacement or
  • Store credit (digital gift card)

Items that have been worn, installed, altered, washed, cut, or used in any way are not eligible for defective or damaged claims.

Missing Items

In the unlikely event that an item is missing from your order and the claim is approved, the entire order must be returned to Daijah Janae Hair Studio LLC in its original, unused condition for verification.

Once the full order is received and inspected, resolution will be issued at our discretion, which may include store credit. Shipping fees are non-refundable.

Important Notes

  • Claims submitted outside of the 2-day reporting window will be denied
  • We do not accept responsibility for carrier-related damage once the package is marked as delivered
  • False or fraudulent claims will result in denial of future service

 

U.S. Returns

U.S. orders may be eligible for return for store credit only in the form of a digital gift card. Exchanges are not offered.

All return requests must be submitted through our Return Portal, accessible HERE on our website. Returns submitted outside of the Return Portal or without prior authorization will not be accepted.

Return Eligibility & Approval

To be considered for store credit:

  • Return requests must be submitted within 5 days of delivery
  • Requests are reviewed and approved at the sole discretion of Daijah Janae Hair Company
  • Store credit is issued only for valid, approved reasons
  • Items must be unused, unworn, unaltered, and uninstalled
  • Lace must be uncut
  • Hair must not be washed, colored, cut, or modified
  • Items must pass inspection upon return

Approval must be received before any item is shipped back.


Store Credit (Gift Card) Policy

Approved returns will be issued a digital gift card for the eligible product value after inspection. Gift cards:

  • Have no cash value
  • Are non-refundable
  • Cannot be transferred
  • Cannot be applied to shipping fees
  • Are issued to the original purchaser only

Shipping costs are non-refundable.


Final Sale Items

The following items are final sale and not eligible for return or store credit:

  • Sale wig units
  • Any item marked “Final Sale”
  • Items showing signs of wear, alteration, or installation


Return Shipping

Once a return is approved, customers are responsible for:

  • All return shipping costs
  • Secure packaging
  • Tracking and insurance

Daijah Janae Hair Company is not responsible for lost or damaged return shipments.


Refused or Undeliverable Packages

Orders that are refused, returned to sender, or undeliverable due to incorrect address information provided by the customer are not eligible for store credit or replacement.


Policy Agreement

By placing an order with Daijah Janae Hair Company, you acknowledge and agree to:

  • The requirement to complete the Order Confirmation Form within the stated timeframe
  • Applicable restocking fees
  • The use of the Return Portal for all return requests
  • All U.S. shipping and return terms outlined above

All policies are strictly enforced to protect product integrity, processing time, and fairness for all customers.
